Horseback riding tours or “cabalgatas” take you to the heart of the Costarican natural beauty; you could ride through river banks, savannas, and waterfalls. Tour guides help direct you through paths and trails throughout the magnificent tropical forests. During the ride you will learn about the flora and fauna of the region and enjoy all that the scenery of the region has to offer.
Tours are offered in several regions of Guanacaste, and generally a minimum of 2 people are needed to get a tour going. Tours can be arranged for all levels of participation, from the beginner to the experienced rider.
