Rappeling in Guanacaste

Tourism Chamber of Guanacaste features Rappelling Tour at the sunny side of Costa Rica.

From french "Rappel", this is a sport that uses a system of descent by cord on vertical surfaces. Basically it is to descend a steep slope or vertical face using a rope that is secured at the top and passed through a series of coils or a harness around the body. It is often practiced in combination with hiking, trekking, rock climbing, spelunking and similar activities that require vertical descents in natural places.

This sport can be practiced in Costa Rica and it is offered to tourists in many locations throughout Guanacaste.
